Attorneys are dedicated, compassionate people who work hard to help make sure that justice is delivered to all citizens—especially those who are less fortunate or typically underserved. In addition to their courtroom work, many attorneys spend countless hours volunteering as community leaders. The work of the Alabama Civil Justice Foundation helps spread that compassion and commitment even farther, and links its grantmaking directly to the values and generosity of the attorneys who support its charitable activities.
With a steadfast commitment to justice, the ACJF supports efforts to protect and assist children, families and seniors through essential programs and services.
Our grantmaking program allows our members —Alabama’s legal community—an opportunity to invest in people and build strong communities as a means of improving the quality of life in Alabama.
For 15 years, the Foundation has been a committed advocate for and a valued stakeholder in various issues and concerns throughout the state. By awarding grants to nonprofit organizations, the ACJF has become a valuable partner and a reliable resource for organizations that provide much-needed programs and services to the most vulnerable members of our society.
